Protections

What are Protections and what they do?

Protections are generally for moderators/admins want to protect their server against spammers or griefers.

If Hammer detects unwanted behaviour, user will be warned. If warn count is exceeded based on configured threshold, action will be taken (punishment) as it is configured.

You may want to check punishments documentation for more information about taken actions and how to configure them.

Protections are seperated to two categories text and non-text protections.

For all protection required permission should be satisfied. Otherwise, protections won't work.

If user is whitelisted for the protection or has administrator permission; protections won't be triggered.

Text Protecitons

Link Protection

Link protection checks whether sent messages contain links.

Link protection detects every link and there is no way to whitelist certain link for now.
